Update: OMB pre-hearing
The pre-hearing took place on May 19th, 2011 at the Ontario Municipal Board .
The attendees included Mr. Terry Mills of Sherwood Park Residents’ Association (SPRA); counsel for the developer; Sarah O’Connor (Legal) and Ben DiRaimo (Planning) of the City of Toronto and approximately two dozen area residents. As previously advised SPRA are representing the community.
The OMB hearing has been scheduled for October 18th, 2011 and at this point is expected to last 5 business days. Mediation prior to the hearing date is being considered by all parties.

We continue to have an urgent need to raise more funds to pay for professional services of a municipal lawyer, traffic consultant and planner. These professionals will help us to form a viable position at the OMB hearing on October 18, 2011. Any amount your budget will allow is appreciated. We suggest a minimum of $100 and hope that some of you will consider an amount in the range of $200 to $500 to help us help you.
